Library as a learningResource

The libraryhas RS Library Management System. It is software that helps to maintain adatabase that is useful to enter new books & record books borrowed by thestudents and teachers, with the respective submission date. The library of thecollege has valuable collection of more than 18000 books of the diverse subjectswhich catering the needs of students & teachers of different courses. Thereis also a reading room attached with the library so that students and staff canread in the library. The students are allowed to take 2 books. The libraryplays a very important role in the learning of the students as most of thestudents are not able to buy the required number of books recommended by the teachersdue to their poor financial condition. Two computers are installed in thelibrary for keeping some records and online search of books and otherinformation. In additionto the book it has N-List subscription from INFLIBNET Center. Thus the library ispartially automated.
