Redcross was established in 1863 by Jean Henry Dunant in Geneva, Switzerland, the father of Redcross movement and receipient of noble award for peace in 1901. The Indian Redcross is a voluntary humanitarian organization having a network of 700 branches throughout the country, providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies and promotes health and care of the vulnerable people and communities.
Students in colleges and those aged 18-30 years of age may join the youth Redcross. Youth represents a substantial part of the membership of Redcross for its humanitarian commitment. Young volunteers can make a significant contribution to meeting the needs of the most vulnerable people within their local communities through Redcross program. This has been designed to involve young people as much as possible in the movement and its activities not only as workers and also as beneficiaries, but as partners in management.

3. HIV/AIDS awareness camp
4. First Aid camp
5. Hight and weight measurement
6. Free from worms/albendazole pills
7. Rally to vote
8. Orientation program to newly admitted students etc.
